Summary and Main Purpose:
The role of the Executive Coach is to coach and support the development and progression of our learners on the Leadership and Management L5 apprenticeship programme and the Professional Coaching Level 5 apprenticeship programme. To support the delivery of the required standard within work-based settings, delivering effective and engaging sessions via a coaching approach. This, along with regular visits ensures continuous development, growth, and achievement of learners allocated on the caseload.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coach the learners to complete their learning within the timescale of their programme
- Complete the required number of visits and reviews required for each learner
- Coach and support the learner’s line manager to provide adequate support and guidance needed by the learner during the working day
- Monitor and review learner issues on a regular basis, taking any necessary action to limit the number of early leavers from the programme
- Manage and complete both business and personal administration within given timescales
- Ensure knowledge of all subject areas and competitors are kept constantly updated by way of self-development (CPD)
- Attendance at standardisation sessions to keep up to date with programme developments
- Share best practice with colleagues and ensure the L5 programme is the flagship programme within Remit
- Research the industry on a regular basis to keep abreast of market developments and trends

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong coaching skills within management
- The ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrable senior management experience
Key Requirements - Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level grade C or above including Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Relevant occupational qualification
- Relevant Coaching qualification
- Ability to demonstrate the eleven competencies of coaching
- Recognised teaching qualification at level 3 or above
- TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award or equivalent
Experience:
- Management experience within industry
- Relevant occupational sector experience, and/or current updated CPD
- Experience of delivering standards within work-based settings
- Professional Coaching: 3 years (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Government Funded training
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written
- Excellent IT knowledge and skills including using electronic portfolio systems, Microsoft Teams and other packages
- Current knowledge of industry requirements and challenges
- Time Management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision as part of a remote team
- Ability to motivate, coach and support learners
- Proven track record to influence people
- Ability to develop delivery/curriculum resources
- Flexible approach to working hours
