Summary and Main Purpose:

The role will be delivering all aspects of the learner onboarding session to ensure all Remit learners receive an Outstanding experience and learner journey.

Striving to deliver excellent customer service, both internal and external, working with stakeholders to ensure a high level of quality, as well as bringing a high level of enthusiasm and excitement for all learners ahead of commencing their learner journey, ensuring learners are given the information and tools needed to excel.

The role will manage & deliver virtual learner onboarding sessions to welcome learners to Remit ensuring it is engaging and offering the right guidance, knowledge, and support to ensure all apprentices are given a clear vision of their learning journey ahead. The Apprentice Onboarder will provide learners with a clear understanding of the programme they are enrolling onto including the apprenticeship standard, skills required, delivery methodology, end point assessment, signposting any support and guidance to ensure they are ready to start on programme.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Onboarding of learners ensuring high levels of quality throughout the process with all starts being added to the systems within a timely manner, ensuring all signatures are completed on the day of onboarding.
  • To prepare learner paperwork ready for Onboarding, ensuring all reporting systems are up to date and any outstanding queries are actioned within 48 hours.
  • The role is to work collaboratively with all stakeholders (Accounts & Sales Team, DC’s, Tutors, RM’s, Admin, Planning & Resource Manager etc.). Ensure communication is very clear and aids good team working.
  • Liasing with learners and clients to deliver excellent customer service
  • Completing the Skills Reviews, Training plan and the Apprenticeship Agreement to a high standard on the day of onboarding.
  • To onboard learners, delivering a learning session with a completed training plan, all with an error rate of 5% or less
  • Planning upcoming cohorts in the diaries, ensuring invites to learners/clients are sent out in a timely manner and followed up with different types of communication methods to promote attendance.
  • Completing regular CPD, ensuring mandatory and optional training are up to date.
  • Any adhoc duties as requested by line management.

Key Requirements

Qualifications:

  • English & Maths at level 2 or equivalent
  • Teaching/coaching qualification

Experience:

  • Experience and understanding of apprenticeship programmes
  • Virtual delivery and effective engagement to both groups & individuals
  • Computer literate with proficient use of Microsoft packages including Teams, Excel
  • Working towards and exceeding KPIs & targets

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Fun & friendly with a passion for great customer service
  • Attention to detail & able to work to high level of accuracy
  • Excellent time management & planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with, motivate and inspire others
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Effective influencing & negotiating skills
