Summary and Main Purpose:
Working within the apprenticeship recruitment team, you will be responsible for the recruitment of high calibre apprentices into exciting apprenticeships throughout the UK, with a main focus on the IT, Technical & Digital, Automotive and Business Services sector
The main purpose of this rewarding and fulfilling role is ultimately to successfully place candidates in quality apprenticeships via multiple channels, whilst continuously developing and maintaining excellent relationships with a number of our high-profile customers through open communication and mutual understanding.
You will always aim and strive for customer excellence – putting both the customer and the candidate at the centre of everything you do.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work closely with several high-profile organisations throughout the UK to support the recruitment of their apprenticeship requirements in terms of skills, commitment, attitude, and to prepare candidates for the Apprenticeship program.
- Advertise our customers’ requirements across job sites such as NAS (National Apprenticeship Service), Indeed, CareerMap, GMFJ and GOV.UK (find a job), along with social media, referral partners and our Remit website.
- Review and match internal and external candidate applications to the most suitable opportunity through telephone screening – assessing suitability, arranging interviews with the employer, and delivering feedback in a timely manner.
- Work to monthly recruitment KPI’s based on the number of apprenticeship starters, candidates screened and engagement activities.
- Continuously build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing employers and candidates.
- Be aware of competitors & changes or challenges in specific areas.
- Maintain the candidate talent pool database for future recruitment.
- Always uphold high standards of professionalism, positivity, integrity, customer service and values that Remit showcase.
Throughout the apprenticeship journey you will work closely with both desk-based and field-based colleagues within the Sales Teams, providing regular updates around your shared caseload in addition to supplying a selection of strong, engaged applicants for them to share within their pipeline of prospective customers.
Experience:
- Excellent customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Possess a confident, friendly, and professional manner
- Good communication and presentation skills, oral and written
- Good general IT awareness- Microsoft Office
- Time Management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
