Summary and Main Purpose:

Remit Training are one of the UKs largest training providers, rated outstanding by OFSTED. We delivering a number of highly prestigious national apprenticeship programmes in partnership with national clients.

We are looking to grow our amazing team of Apprentice Coaches with more brilliant people.

The role of the Apprentice Coach is to work directly with apprentices and their employers in the field. Working collaboratively with our academy and our employers, you will strive to ensure that every apprentice is given the best opportunity to excel and to develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge to embark on a successful career within the automotive sector.

Technical experience, although advantageous is not a requirement.

The essential skills required for this role are excellent people and communication skills, the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, and effective time management and planning skills.

This is an exciting time to join one of the country’s leading and most prestigious training providers.The purpose of this role is to deliver excellent customer experience to both our Learners and Employers and to ensure that all parties understand and commit to their roles in the apprenticeship programme. The Apprentice Coach is responsible with the mentor for ensuring the learners progress in line with the learner journey to evidence the distance travelled and achieve their qualification within a timely manner.

The role is to support apprentices and workplace mentors by providing guidance relevant to the sector-specific standard, and to hold learner progress reviews to ensure all parties clearly understand the progression for each apprentice and future targets.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for supporting individuals to realise their full potential.
  • Reasonable IT skills
  • Good time management skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload under pressure
  • Awareness of Safeguarding responsibilities
  • Good standard of English and Maths
  • Committed to the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Committed to the concept of continuous improvement and continuing professional development
  • Full valid driving licence
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
