Automotive Levy Sales Manager
Remuneration Package:

Summary and Main Purpose:
- Engage with businesses to generate apprenticeship vacancies for the Automotive sector with large levy paying clients to meet budget requirements
- Specific focus on Light Vehicle/Autocare apprenticeships, into large manufacturers
- Able to create and grow a sales pipeline of apprenticeships with large employers in the automotive sector
- Account manage key levy client accounts
Key Accountabilities:
Planning
- Support the delivery of levy and non-levy activity in line with the annual and three-year sales strategy
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales target to ensure company objectives are achieved
- Work cross departmentally to support all company business units in achieving their objectives
Presentations
- Undertake detailed client research activities to ensure bids and presentations are successful
- Support with the development of presentation and content for each client and confirm any supplementary information or activities to win business in conjunction with.
- In agreement with CEO and Business Unit Director, confirm who will attend presentations to maximise success rate
- To ensure all presentations are thoroughly checked, accurate represent Remit positively.
Implementation of new accounts
- Support implementation of new accounts until learners commence on programme and create a clear handover process for successful delivery by operational teams and account manager
- Maintain on-going relationships with appropriate key accounts as part of the quarterly and annual review cycle
- Identify opportunities for future growth within relevant current accounts to maximise levy spend percentage
External Relationships
- Maintain external relationships with potential clients and appropriate referral agencies
- Attendance at relevant industry events
- Undertake competitor research and identify activities that will ensure Remit has a market leading position
- Support operational field teams and manage external stakeholders, and external suppliers to support business aims
Reporting
- Produce a monthly report detailing activity undertaken, wins and pipeline opportunities
- Identify risks for timely implementation and feed into the employer risk register via Business Unit Director
People
- Maintain partnership relationships with relevant Business Units and colleagues so that each is receiving sufficient sales support to ensure targets are met
Other
- Work with the Business Unit Director to explore a collaborative approach with external agencies in achieving Remit’s objectives
- Any other duties reasonably requested by the Business Unit Director
Experience:
- Field based Client Facing Role demonstrate sales track record in new business development and account management in the Automotive sector
- Experience of Apprentice attraction and recruitment / placement
- Experience of large employer engagement, generating Apprentice opportunities in volume
- Experience of working towards targets and KPI’s
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Possess a confident, friendly and professional manner
- Strong business acumen and the ability to forecast change
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Government Funded training
- Experience of working in the Automotive sector, with established networks
- Good communication and presentation skills, oral and written
- Good general IT awareness Microsoft Office and CRM user
- Time Management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision
- Proven track record to influence people
- Ability to travel to locations throughout the UK as required
- Full valid driving licence
